The Garden Sports Power Skating program focuses on proper skating techniques and knowledge of body awareness and will improve your child’s skating so that they become a more effective skater, thus a better hockey player. 


Skaters will learn powerful backward C-cuts, alternating forward and backward crossovers, forward power hockey turns, lateral pivots, fast stops and starts, and fast backward skating with quick backward V-stops and much more.

Equipment required: Caged hockey helmet, shoulder and elbow pads, hockey pants, shin guards, hockey gloves, protective cup, mouth guard, stick cut to skater's height, and hockey skates.

Please bring athletic shoes for off-ice workouts, snacks, and a water bottle.

Clinics include: 3 Sessions per day

12:00pm – 1:00pm On-Ice Clinic

1:15pm – 1:45pm Off-Ice Session

2:00pm – 3:00pm On-Ice Clinic
