The Gardens Ice House Positions
GSA 2 (Zamboni driver)
We are looking for US Ice Rinks CIT's. We are offering full-time positions for anyone over the age of 21. Full-time benefits include sick and vacation leave, matching 401k, health benefits, yearly bonuses, and profit sharing. Your responsibilities include all GSA 1 duties as well as ice maintenance and resurfacing duties. We can train you on the job but you must have CIT certification or over 5 years of experience driving without CIT certification. Adult Hockey League Scorekeepers
The Gardens Ice House is seeking scorekeepers for our Adult Hockey League. Applicants must be available to work games starting between 6pm and 10:30pm on weeknights and anytime on weekends. Gardens Sports Limited is looking to fill out its Summer Camp staff for the 2024 season and is accepting applications for the following positions. Applicants must be a graduating Senior or at least 18 years old. Camp Director
Position Summary: Responsible for all camp operations. Leads and directs the supervision of campers and staff in all daily activities and operations. Manages partnership with facility staff, customer service needs, and programming agenda to ensure a quality camp experience. Demonstrates Garden Sports’ commitment to its core values of respect, responsibility, and caring in all actions to serve as a role model.
Assistant Camp Director
Position Summary: Responsible for helping the Camp Director with all camp operations. Directs the supervision of campers and staff in all daily activities and operations. Assists the Camp Director with programming agendas to ensure a quality camp experience. Actively engages with Camp Counselors and Camp Participants throughout the day. Demonstrates Garden Sports’ commitment to its core values of respect, responsibility, and caring in all actions to serve as a role model.
Camp Counselor
Position Summary: To be a part of the team that will provide a positive summer camp experience. Counselors will implement lesson plans, organize games and activities, and supervise children during all segments of the day including water breaks, lunch, swimming, ice skating and dismissal. Counselors will report to the Camp Director any discipline situations or camper issues requiring a solution. Counselors will aid in the set-up and clean-up of all camp functions and activities.
